- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech, MCA or higher in computer science, Information System or Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement PLM project modules working as part of the team.
- Root causeExtensive expertise in PLM processes, methods, and tools analysis of defects and suggest/develop fixes.
- Focus on PLM downstream processes, e.g.
- Product documentation and translation
- Publishing of product / spare part catalogues
- Provisioning of customer documentation packages as a contractual obligation
- Project / Design maturity reports
- Integration in overall IT landscape (ERP, PPM, BI applications, Web Portals)
- Experience with the integration of 3rd party applications
- Understanding of IT development process
- Understanding of testing process (unit / functional / system / business testing)
- Review and execution of test cases
- Advanced programming skills in Windchill technology (e.g. Java, JSP / web technologies, XML)
- Experience with PTC Integrity and Eclipse
Skills:
Minimum 10 years of experience of working in Windchill implementation projects, with 1 or more years of experience as a Windchill Technical or Process Architect for a minimum of 3 customers with full-scope implementations, product life-cycle management systems, CAD data management, product data management, and associated networking systems.
Extensive experience from both user perspective and technical perspective (business administration, configuration, customization, integration) in the following areas:
- Parts and document management
- Change management.
- Workflows
- Customer and supplier integration
- Creo View (tool and applications)
- Spare parts management
- Reports (QML, Cognos, custom)
- “Data Maintenance” – preparation and execution of mass changes (e.g. attributes, structures, links)
- System integration with legacy applications, external tools, web portals etc.
- Access rights management
- Excellent communication skills – fluent in English and able to handle customer discussions independently.
